Hacking Billy Bass

Ahhh, another pointless project…
Billy Bass can be hacked to say whatever you what him to say.
I ran across this site the other day.

The idea is to control Billy’s mouth with the parallel port.

I broke out the soldering iron and gave this hack a try. The finished product is pretty cool.
I did have some trouble getting the code to compile. g++ has changed over the years. I fixed up the code and submitted a patch to the author.

The only problem is that the tail no longer wags. Maybe with a little probing around in the code I can get the tail working.
